I joined a site last June or July. Someone who "claimed" to be the owner promised that "his" site would take ranking over myspace and those who worked for "him" would earn from being "staff" members of the site.
I fell victim to this because he "seemed" very genuine in wanting others to earn online. In retrospect, I wish that I had listened to my gut a few months ago, but I didn't.
Always the last to know.....
Seems that he was not the owner of the site, he was merely the administrator. He took our money for "top positions" with no returns.
He said he was building partnerships with other companies and asked us to join him there. These companies claim no partnership with him. He merely wanted us to join under him and make him money. He used all of our efforts to make him money!
I found that he had done this "several" other times to other people with different programs, but always using the same words of "working globally as a team" and so many more "uplifting" words to keep you thinking that what he was saying was going to happen. These types of people (scammers) know all the right words to say!
Beware, my readers and do your research on the person who is making the claim to a site and making claims that seem unrealistic as 9 out of 10 times, you will find something that will tell you to run. Even if they seem genuine, investigate, investigate, investigate! If I had done that sooner, I would not have wasted so much time on a dream that would never happen.
And this my friends.......is How Stuff Works
